Went in to look at the C7. They had one sitting on the showroom floor. It was a white Z51 model.

I can live with the tail lights, and maybe the rear fascia, if the car is black. Still not digging the hatch, though. Looks like there's less cargo space in the C7 than there was in the C6, which was less than in the C5.

I sat in the car, and unless Chevrolet stretches the wheelbase by 2 inches, giving me some legroom, there's no way I'd be able to drive this car. Oh, there was plenty of headroom, not that that matters now.

Bottom line, there is no C7 in my future. Time to start saving up for a 427 vert.

I can't think of a more perfect Corvette, then a wide bodied vert with a 427.

Was that at Friendly in Dallas? I was tempted but it has practically every option pushing the price well over $70K. Too rich for my pocketbook.
