The oxy is for pain maintenance. Don't wait until the pain becomes intense before medicating yourself, you'll end up using more.

This is actually a serious question..Did it hurt? I have had some people tell me that it didn't or they don't remember it.

I get nervous everytime I use a circular saw. I hate them. I have a story of why, but it's really sad so i'll save it for later.

Hope you recover soon and well!

I figured it had to hurt bad.

It didn't happen to me but an acquaintance. I was working at the Sheriff's department at the time.

He was using a circular saw. During his cut the guard stuck open. While he was cutting his 2 year old son walked up. The man didn't know he was there and lowered the saw to put it down and set it down on his son's head. It was still turning and killed the boy. Very sad for that family. The man has never forgiven himself.

Cut one of mine off in third grade. Then ripped it off twice more when the bandage got caught on various stuff while playing. Turned black. They said it was done for. My mom talked them into sewing it on one more time. It took. No feeling in it. Since its my left hand when I play guitar, I just say its jazz.

Good luck with recovering. You will adapt.

Ouch! Sorry to hear this Chuck. Take care of yourself and I hope you heal quickly. No matter how much it hurts do the PT. I hope you prove the doctors wrong and you get use of your fingers again.

I don't have the eloquence of onedef (and shet), but wanted to offer my prayers for a full recovery!

That's horrible. Whenever something like that guard getting stuck happens, I go into hyper-safety mode.

Did you think of having fricken lasers installed, I'm mean they were in there anyway.

When the bandages come off will you have full sensation or will it always be like you are giving yourself a 'stranger'?

Did you worry the doctor ****ed up th order of the fingers when he put them back on?

Ok, I think that's it for now. Hope you have a speedy recovery. And just think, it could have been your **** and not a couple digits.
funniest shit I've read in a long time.
