Of all the people I know in my age group with grown kids, I'd say 80% of them I've met are failure to launch.Basically useless draws on society. Only a handful turned out well, due to good parenting, genes, etc. Most of the folks here seem to have good kids, likely due to their conservative backgrounds and ideals. But here in CA, seriously, most people under 45 aren't worth a tinker's dam.

It was explained to me when I started high school that when I turned 18 I would either go to college, or go to work, or go in the military. The key word was "go".
