Mostly VIR the first year while Georgana learns to play nice with other cars on the track. Once she gets signed off and feels comfortable with the new set up, I'll haul her around to some other venues. She's got quite a few laps under her belt at Roebling, CMP, Rockingham, and Summit Point, but none at VIR, and none with Passing involved. Our track experience was with the NCCC, and it was running balls out timed qualifying laps, but spaced enough for no passing.

how did you clean up the rear hubs and driveshafts?

I got mine cleaned off, but not clean-clean the last time I had the wheels off and the half shafts out.

looking forward to the first report of how it feels with coil-overs.

What were you doing to the injectors? Plugging the secondary ones?

FYI I'm an instructor with NASA and have hundreds of laps around VIR I'll be instructing at VIR at the February and March events.

Looking forward to watching more of the build!

A little simple green about 8 years ago! The car has maybe 100 miles on wet roads since then.

NO, I'm removing the vacuum system that controls the secondaries, along with the secondary port throttle blades and shafts. The shafts were on bearings so when I removed them it left the open bore where air can be sucked in. Therefore I'm plugging the bores where the bearings were in the heads. The ecm chip has already been tuned for their removal and will run on all 16 injectors at throttle just above idle and up.

She already hit up a co-worker that instructs and I'm attempting to get most of these mods done for the Feb event.

Very cool. How much power will it make when ready? What kind of RPM will it turn?

Stock is 375, so I'm hoping for a few more ponies from the headers and removal.
My big push is to make it handle better, because it's a pig at almost 3500 lbs.

Geeze I had no idea they were that heavy. If it's a track car start removing crap. I've got my car down to 2850 with the cage, fire suppression system and cool-shirt setup.

Changed out a leaky rear trans seal and installed a set of Beam Plates.
Almost forgot, we also swapped in a Hurst short throw!

Didn't get much done last weekend, roadtrip to go pick up the new trailer.
Got it rolling and running yesterday!
