...until spring training begins. The best sport ever. Can't wait to get to West Palm Beach in early March and see my Nats begin their WS championship defense. They've done will this winter with FA signings and keeping the team together. I'm very optimistic, and maybe a liggle buzzed.

I like the Cards. Heck, I like all of them. I'm a baseball fan from waaaaay long ago.

There's something about the start of spring training. It's a signal that everything's going to be all right.

Don't know how long you've been a fan of the Cards, but have you ever heard of a pitcher named Hal Woodeshick? Somewhere around 1965 IIRC. Back in those days, ballplayers had regular jobs during the off season, and he was one of my dad's workmates.
