I have really become a Bryson fan. Most professional golfers do their mandatory sponsor duties and that's about all you see of them outside of tournament play.


Bryson is over here filming himself playing rounds with cool people, giving swing lessons and doing fun challenges like the Break 50 series.

I agree with the bolded. The PGA Tour has had a problem with being way too controlling of the players for literally decades. I remember folks like Ernie Els and Vijay Singh complaining about it when they were in their primes 20-25 years ago, and it only got worse from there.

Hell, I'm no big fan of the LIV tour, but you have to admit the PGA Tour left the door wide open, knowing many of their top players were pissed, and not doing anything about it.

liv is shit golf, other than maybe 10, none could ever win on the PGA Tour, and of those 10 maybe 5 could win a major.
I do not have an issue with them taking the money, I have a problem with them saying the money is not the reason they left.

liv golf has a shitshow at The Masters, MUCH worse than last year.

Lack of rounds (3 vs. 4), lack of tournaments (they play much less), and lack of competition all played a role; I feel they have MANY talented players, but the liv format is counterproductive.

I think the best three liv golfers would struggle to make it to The Tour Championship if they were on tour for all of 2024 based on the golf I viewed this past week.
