Father's day weekend project
Spent the last couple of days cleaning up EFI-1 and decided to give her some sun for pics. Unfortunately scheduling woes have prevented me from getting the TPE T2 flares installed, but next month looks promising.
While I was at it, I rolled out the Viper for some cameo's. Hit both cars with some Adam's scratch remover (on & off of the covers tend to cause hairlines over time) and foam pads on my Makita 9227. It turned out to be the perfect amount of cut to get rid of the fine scratches and I followed that up with some Adam's Revive with scratch remover mixed in, and then Butter Wax. Finished with detailing spray, and I let them bask in the sun for a few minutes before rolling them back into cover. These are the first clear shots I've got of the new kicks on the car, and believe they will look sick when the fenders get done. Until then, I just gotta pimp it Joe Dirt style in my driveway. LOL. In any event, they are the D2Forged CV2 concaves in a brushed finish. 5" lip out back with some serious concavity. About the same weight as my old iForged Daytona's but with a bit more width out back. They measure 19x9.5 & 20x13 with Nitto Invo's in 275/30-19 & 345/25-20. On to the pics (Don't mind me, I'm trying to play with the CS options I've never really used before): Have a great father's day weekend gang. |

Those wheels are very cool, love the brushed finish. I would really like to get brushed finished wheels for my car. Your car is going to look mean with the flares but you already know that. Nice Viper BTW.

B/W GTS is a classic... keep that car it'll be worth $$$$ in a few years. The Z will look awesome w/ the flares. I really like the concave center.

Munch - Mahalo my brutha. I have always been a black powdercoat centersection kinda guy, but I wanted to do something new on my 3rd set of custom forged so I figured brushed was the best fit. I'm not disappointed in the least.
Brian - Thanks mang. I searched for about 10 yrs for this GTS. Passed up many a Sapphire/Silver, Black/Silver, Graphite/Silver and even a Bumblebee to arrive here and I'm glad I did. I would love to have a Bumblebee too now, but that will have to come after the Ford GT, Backdraft Cobra, and 997 GT3. |

I hope all is well with you and the crew. I'm glad to see you are taking a short break and are least driving the cars.

Mahalo my brutha. I'm glad you're still here. Was wondering how you've been. Gonna go hit up a local cruise spot, so I'll check you later bro. Don't work too hard!

Yup, I'm still around here, doing well and I have to work hard. I have a busy summer/early fall cruising at 36000ft heading east. I'm still trying to get some work heading west so I can stop through, but its not looking possible this year.

Low - Keep me posted if you do. Always down to grab a cold one with you.
Sneaks & Shagster - Unfortunately I didn't take any side shots. I was kinda kicking myself about it last night when I was going through the pics. I'll get some next time she comes out. Peterpan - Mahalo. Happy fathers day gang! Reps everyone! |
