Check out Aerolarri. You can get true forged for less than $1000 per corner. Definitely gonna put 4 Aerolarri's on when I get the new ride.

Here's a type of wheel that looks like the VX-1, as well as a finish called Carbon Flash Metallic.

I'm guessing Flex is strong enough to get some T-55 bolts out without calling in a professional mechanic to help him out.

I never understood the wheels thing. Most new cars/trucks come with nice wheels. Why spend thousands of dollars on aftermarket replacements?

I kind of wish pickups still came with steel wheels and dog bowl hubcaps. Meh.

No story to tell.

I had a slow leak, finally got sick of having to put air in the tire every once in a while, took it to tire shop for repair and they told me it wasn't the tire that the wheel was cracked.

I found out the day it was going into storage and I was going to Niagara Falls that weekend so needed my Charger so I just swapped cars and figured I'd deal with it in the spring.

I can either have it repaired, buy a new OEM wheel or just go full potato and buy a whole new set of wheels.

So here we are.

That's how I ended up with aftermarket wheels on my C5. Virginia potholes are terrible.

Understood. Out of warranty I assume?
I'd probably just buy one OEM wheel.

Black wheels look great on most vehicle colors. Having said that, white is such a bland and boring color, this may be a time where chrome wheels would make it pop a little more.

IMO, Spoked cast wheels out of aluminum are just asking for troubles, rough roads especially.....

so MY answer was '89 vette wheels, with spokes/fins/center area painted black metallic, a nice cheep solution back some 15 years ago for about 150 bux/four of them......

Graphite, with the color of the car, the color of your biceps, and color of your Bun Boy/Tin-Tin 'doo.

Not into chrome.

And yeah; white was not on my radar when I was shopping for the C7; I wanted Admiral Blue but stumbled across the White Z06 while looking at a blue Stingray and it was too good of a deal to pass up. I paid about $20k below market value and bonus Mrs Flex really likes it.
