I don't know what these architects are thinking anymore. The rest of the house looks like a shoebox with a shed roof on top. Butt ugly.

This one is in a 140 mile wind zone, exposure C, on a ridge so some pretty big uplift forces.

I tell these contractors all the time, when you build an open roof, you've built a wing. A deck is similar. In this case, he has five wings.
