A slight twist on chili...
Pretty darned good chili! Not too offbeat since it still tastes like traditional chili.
2 tbsp. vegetable oil 1 medium onion 1 pound ground turkey (or ground beef) 1 15 oz. can black beans 1 15 oz. can of pinto beans 1 15 oz. can whole kernel corn 1 15 oz. can diced tomatoes 1 pkg. spicy taco seasoning 1 pkg. dry Ranch dressing Put oil in skillet, add diced onion. Saute until turning brown, then dump into a pot. Brown turkey, add to pot. Add all remaining ingredients (do not drain canned ingredients), thin to desired consistency with water, let simmer until hot. Makes 8 generous servings. |

Sounds good to me but the traditionalists will cry blaspheme as it has beans in it. Personally, I like beans in chili.

We call that taco soup around these parts. Serve it with some cheese sprinkled on top and tostito chips.
