Thank you!!!!!!!!!! That's the point I was trying to make... Doesn't matter the make, model, or if it's your taste or not. A TRUE car guy could at least respect all the time, thought and effort that went into make the car the way he wanted it...

Seriously, never understood the myopic brand loyalty.
I am hosting an autocross tomorrow and the top three hot cars are going to be a 370Z, a Miata, a C6Z06. They are all badass cars in their own way.
BTW, anyone with a stock C4 that would like to take on my stock drivetrain Miata to see how they compare, feel free to sign up.

That I'll give it. I would never rip another person's car. There are plenty that I don't personally like but we all have different tastes. There are a hell of a lot of people out there that don't like my cars.

Much like the new GT-R... I'll give it the respect it deserves, but even after driving/riding in a few modded Supras with big HP and all sorts of other work done I personally I don't care for them and have absolutely zero desire to own one.

On a side note, are some of you actually hypocritical enough to get defensive and rip somebody for speaking negatively about the Supra and then turn right back around and in the same post bash other people's cars?

On the same note, One very good deterrent from bashing other people's cars (especially when you aren't 100% sure) is that I've seen way too many rust and primer cars or cars that you wouldn't expect that are not at all what they seem once they hit a track. You look like an ass pretty quickly when the POS you were making fun of comes screaming past your shiny beauty queen.

As a low budget C4 driver, I can honestly say there is no more gratifying feeling than getting on a track and passing the newer Corvette guys (and Porsche guys) who turn up their noses and won't even talk to you in the pits.

Love those Supras ... regret selling my 95 TT. Now the nice ones are unaffordable to mere mortals like myself. Well, I could afford one if fedguv wasn't giving half of my paycheck away every month ...

During my stint on many forums I have seen many jacktards post their cars that they are so proud of but IMHO look like it was slapped togehter by an 8th grader in a highschool auto class. What did I do or say? NOTHING as it would first make the owner feel like shit and second because it would make me look like a retard.

On the other hand, attack me or my car that I never post for the above reason and expect to get it back x 50.

I own a carbureted C4 with a body kit... if I went off on every person who bashed something about my car I would have to hire a fleet of people to help me keep up.

Exactly why I dont post pictures of my cars outside of my own forum.
For every person who say they love it there will be 5 people who say they hate it and those other people that had a bad day at work or fight with the wife and find the need to unload on you as a way to unwind.

In the end its a lose / lose situation when posting what you have done to a car.

The real fun part of the inevitable Corvette fights is that I also own a C5Z (that is no match for the C4).

I can usually take most of the ammo away from both sides of the fight with that combo.

Corvette fights are for the forum rookie. Why on gods green earth would someone fight about these cars is beyond me. and the topics about these cars are for the insane car owner. Dont make me list the topics that make my blood boil
