I know trump says he’s going to use the us military, but what about Texan volunteers I believe they call themselves the Minutemen? Let us bring our Arsenal’s, set minimal rules of engagement and well, let us Texans finally handle it ourselves?

The issue is going to be private property rights. I'm sure there are many who have ranches on the border that either will not want US defenders, because they support the reconquista concept, or not want the repercussions that will come later, when the Texas defenders leave, and then it's open season on those who allowed Texas defenders on their property.

Even if we manage to repel the first wave of the invasion, that invasion force will be there, just over the border, waiting, and probing for weakness so they can make their next surge.

This will be a defining moment for America, for Mexico, and for the horde. Also keep in mind, that just like the Palestinians, they have already, and will again lead with their women and children to push forward.

Can't shoot them because entering the States illegally is STILL just a misdemeanor. Probably couldn't shoot them if the law had real teeth either but making illegal entry a felony is such a no brainer I can't believe the law has not caught up with reality.

So what can seriously be done about the advancing herd? They have to be stopped at the border, but how? That's a lot of people to have to handle at one time. What can be done to contain and control them? How can this situation come out any way but bad for Trump and the U.S.?
