12 days with my mom for her birthday. Will work from her house Mon-Thu next week, but have a Stingray rented for both weekends and flying 1st class both directions! Looking forward to some great golf, gambling, and family time.

Make sure to go to the "Juke Joint" on Craig road and have a beer for me. It is about 2 miles from the main gate at Nellis. Total dive bar, but I've watched the sun come up leaving there with my AF buddies back in the day. Have a good time!

Completely understood. The worst part of rentals is they never wash the GD windshields... ever. Makes me nuts.

I've washed my fair share of rentals quite thoroughly but can't say I've ever waxed one.

This weekend's steed. 2019 Coupe with 777 miles on it. Washed and hand waxed...but of course. Paint is WAY better than the vert which only had 650 miles on it. Rental agencies certainly don't care for these cars the way we do. It has a transparent top which helps immensely with the headroom for me.

Oh, BTW, from last weekend to this weekend, they had an Audi R8 V10, another Vette and a 3rd car all get wasted in accidents.

I had to wait for about an hour to drive away today, plus they were so thankful that I waxed and detailed last week's car that they have comped my gas. I get to drop it off Monday morning on empty. Premium is $3.85/gal out here.
