• Nope don't have an iPhone (or any kind of smart phone).
• I don't, wont, or attempt to video myself playing.

And before some of you , I'll let you that there is video of me playing on TV shows already out there in cyber world.

I have not picked a guitar up in 10 years or more.
RUSH ?? I could have played Temples of Srynx front to back, back then.
Now??? NFW. That was many brain cells ago.
I'd have to practice everything for weeks to get my chops back, that is, if my hurt thumb will allow it.
I have wicked stage fright, therefore I never played out with a band.
It took everything that I had to just jam in the basement with a few bands. Ya, It was great, but I'm not a performer kinda guy.
Playing kept me sane early in my marriage with the new kids, etc.

I haven't ridden a motocrosser for more than 10 years either but I am not looking for a vintage bike to relive my youth. You have downsized, moved, haven't played in eons and have no desire to post up here... why TF are you looking for a new amp? So you can say "I used to use something like that when I still had a life"?

He said he wanted an old tube amp...not a new one.
and he said he wanted to get back into playing.

The only thing he went sideways on was buying as an investment.

Mark made a good point though, that I did downsize.
While it would be cool to have a vintage tube amp sitting around, it would probably end up being just a functional art piece.
The negatives outweigh the positives at this point.
That, and the fact that I have something going on with my fret hand, gives me pause.
