I sometimes have dreams where I can mentally propel myself up and levitate and move around while floating. First time was just floating along with a crowd while they were walking. It's progressed to where in my dreams I jump up and using my mind I make myself go higher. I can stop and hover too. I will dream I am playing basketball and I just jump up and hover in front of the goal blocking shots and grabbing the rebound. once I dreamt I went higher then the trees, at least 100' up. I wake up and it seems so real that I feel like I could really do it. Of course my brain kicks in and says it's impossible.

No idea. I dream I can do that quite often. That was a few dreams I mentioned. The first one being just floating along in a crowd. I couldn't see so I levitated a couple feet so I could see where I was going.

Never had a levitation dream, but I once had a dream of a snake who talked to me in my yard about having killed him. (No such event happened, but it seemed like it had in my dream) He told me about his family, why he was in my garden, etc., and asked why I had to kill him. When I woke up, it seemed as real as coud be, & I've never been able to bother snakes since, beyond encouraging them to leave the area.

Several weeks ago, I saw a baby snake wiggling through the grass while I was on my riding mower. I stopped, & he went under the mower! One of our dogs found him later & dutifully pointed him out to us. I felt bad for a few days.

Yeah, I'm messed up. A bit of a headcase in some regards.

me also i constantly have that i just go up in the air, and dunking the basketball, no clue what it means, but i like the dream

I have had people in my dreams while playing basketball how I do it. I just tell them I will it with my mind and show them.

Yes, absolutely. I can't wait to wake up to try it sometimes. Then In a few seconds after waking up, gravity show up and spoils the fun.

i have dreams where i a being chased and surrounded and am trapped and it just gets crazy like its freaking real and i actually wake myself up because its f-ing scary

I have had dreams for many many years where I can run super human fast. When I start to run my upper body can go down very low and my legs go out behind me. I'm talking 6 inches off the ground low and very long strides ....25, 35 feet with each one.

Have had these ever since I can remember......

I used to have dreams of being able to soar also. it was not real high and often over lakes. I think it comes from an early life when I was a buzzard or something as I remember I never had to worry about cooking dinner.

I have had dreams where I could 'tread air' like the same way you tread water. Then I taught one of my friends to do it and we were treading air around his apartment while my wife (then girlfriend) kept rolling her eyes at us like we hadnt just discovered the most awesome thing ever! I do often take control of my dreams to either out run something, or teleport somewhere, but it can only be to somewhere I can see when I start out. I could go alot further in Kansas than I can here in SC. LOL

I've had those too but not often.

I have several recurring dreams, and in recurring, they happen all of the time.

My current dreams are this:

• I can fly (at 22,000 mph), and in my dream I can make it from Fort Myers to LA in 7 minutes. I don't think the math adds up, but it's not far off.
• I have a laser that comes out of my pinky finger that can cut a skyscraper in half from many miles away, only to watch it topple.
• Not only can I fly, but I can fly to the edge of space, where I can apparently still survive, but I often take adversaries there for punishment, as they will just float away and freeze, never to be seen or heard from again.
• In the frequent flying dreams, I like to do sonic boom fly byes.

I guess I have a need for speed even in sleep.

How the hell did my brain do correct math in my dream???
