But some won't admit the BS flows heavily on both sides of this pandemic.

Would also be curious to see how many "takers" are going to manipulate this system to milk every penny they can. Probably the same ones who procreate uncontrollably to manipulate the system.

A woman with 6 kids, staying at home that has not contributed to society in any positive way will be getting a huge stimulus check, in addition to all her other handouts already coming in every month.

The politicians have learned far more about USING the virus than CURING the virus.

I want to stand strong with the first shop owner that says "fk this, I'm opening". I'll miss a day of work and spend it, and my money, in their business.

Of course, The Gateway Pundit is an American far-right news and opinion website.

That being said, have you considered the reasons that could possibly explain that statistic?

The highways are VACANT.... know what % of fatalities are due to auto accidents? The U.S. traffic fatality rate is 12.4 deaths per 100,000. Road crashes are the leading cause of death in the U.S. for people aged 1-54.

That along with other reasons that the death toll could be lower.

So to put a spin on that, what if we had no quarantine AND all the cars on the road. Wanna guess where the death rate would be then?

More or less what my bike shop owner friend did. He got a "visit" from someone on the governor's "task force" one day and told his story of why he thinks he is essential. Two days later, Gov. Murphy added bike shops to the "essential" list.

I repeat what I've said earlier... there are roughly 2.9 million deaths per year in the US...

Wonder what the number will be this year?

Less than that if you keep the virus numbers low, less vehicles on the road, armed robberies where people die etc.

It could be a banner year for the US

Virus numbers are being fudged, that's a given. So the only way to look at it is total deaths

I kid you not, the crime has plummeted in our area, the home invasions are not happening because, get this.... people are HOME!

As you know, Tim is over the detective division and the bomb squad. Crime is at an all time low.

Not all those dying are elderly uncle Eddie in a nursing home "that was going to die anyway". How cruel and absurd to say.

Do not mistake my comments for a lack of understanding that shit is hard for a specific group of people (small business owners etc) HOWEVER, I also think some pretty amazing things have come from this Pandemic. Glass half full.

People are getting to spend REAL time with their families around the dinner table

Families are realizing that time together is actually one of the most valuable commodities, more than being
'married" to a job.

Some that lived paycheck to paycheck because they chose to have luxury stuff, are now realizing they should have saved for that rainy day. (Don't feel sympathy for those people).

Yards look amazing, air pollution has plummeted.

People realize what is a real medical need and aren't running to the doctor for a runny nose or paper cut.

Lots of love and compassion has emerged and this time has allowed us to focus on what is truly irreplaceable and important in our lives.

Family pets are getting to actually hang with their owners all day.

People are able to now discern true NEEDS from WANTS, something many the last couple of generations did not have any level of perspective.

Some are learning how utterly unprepared they are and how dependent they are on society to support them. Expect the preppers.

Countries all over the world are sharing information and working together to find solutions (Sans China)

AGAIN, there is a lot of BAD, but there is also a silver lining to this as well that should not be over looked.
