Have you ever met anyone from CF or here
who turned out to be a real asshole? Everyone I have met have always been very nice people.
In the early 70s, when I bought my first Corvette, I had a friend who was sort of my Corvette mentor. He told me that I would find everyone who owns a Corvette would be my friend. So far he has been right.

I've met a shit-ton of people from here and there and have always had a great experience. People seem to be more normal in the real world.
 Except that dude with the yellow C5 who loves to do burnouts in the Baymont's parking lot.

I had lunch today with a guy from CF. He lives in Silicon Valley, about 150 miles from here, and he owns some property here. On the surface, we have nothing in common. He is an IT guy, I'm not so much. He makes far more money than me, he's single, I'm married. he's nearly 20 years younger than me, and although he is a citizen, he comes from another country. And every time he comes to my area we get together for lunch and have a great time. The only thing we have in common, really is an interest in Corvettes. And I don't even own one anymore.

Need A Vette (Sandy) Nox (Bob) American Made (Forgot your real name buddy) Cuisinartvette (Ron), he doesn't post here (CF) A few others... Ron's Cherry Picker and Engine Stand are still in my garage. I'm wearing a G-Shock right now that Nox doctored up with a NATO strap. All good peoples.

Hung out with xXbudXx before. And Blademaker is one of my closest friends. My son is on here (Daxius) but seldom lurks or posts. My daughter lives in North Richland Hills, TX, and met oyealiz. There are many I talk to regularly on FB but not met in person. |

Going to many car shows including 15 years of Carlisle I have met quite a few that post both here and the other place. Add to that did a NCM pick up and also a visit there a few years later. Also hit many of the bigger show/get -togethers around NY state and met a few more!

I only went to one CF event at Bowling Green way back in 2003 I think it was, maybe 2002. There was one guy, a major troll on OT and Politics, who actually showed up to confront some of us. It didn't go great for him. I laughed in his face, and the "muscle" he brought with him was hilariously soy boy material. I remember Scissors and I having great fun that night telling that shitstain where he could go.
