Just my luck ....
So I drove the Vette 7+hrs to Ohio for a friends wedding this weekend. I make a few stops along the way to stretch my legs and get gas. I get all the way to the hotel unload the car then move it to some shade to wipe it off. After its been wiped down I go to start it and I get a single click ... no turn over. I checked all the connections and still no luck.
I googled Columbus Corvette repair shops and come across 'Corvette Care'. I call and the owner Lloyd answers and I tell him what happened. He comes from home to help me do a little troubleshooting and refers me to the Chevy dealer for repair. So the car is being towed to the local dealer to be repaired. Of course this happens on a 3 day weekend so the car won't be looked at until Tuesday at the earliest. So now I have to fly back here Tuesday or Wednesday to drive the car back home after the repair.

Me too. Lloyd said Maxton Chevy is great to deal with. I called the service manager a couple times so far and he definitely understands my frustration.

It could be a couple of things....
1. Bad clutch switch 2. Bad starter 3. Loose starter connections 4. Dirty Key VATS thingy When my buddy Mark's (Stormrider) car started doing it it was intermittant and would leave him stranded... ended up being the starter going south and a new one fixed it.

Dam Sean that sucks! Hope it's a simple fix and nothing too drastic.

What are lighter pockets (sockets?) and why did you have those replaced?
It just hit me.... Never mind. Glad you got your ride back!
