Giving the vagories of the fuel gauges in our cars, I wouldn't trust it too far. I don't let mine get under 1/4 tank usually.

Well, I had the unfortunate opportunity to give it a try.
We were "lost" in KY, reserve fuel came on with a range of 70 miles and we got it down to 29 before we found a gas station in the middle of nowhere. The place only had 87, so I only put in a few gallons, we got directions to where we needed to go and gave her a full tank of the good stuff. |
