9mm ammo is a bit cheaper in comparison due to it's availability. 2a warehouse has been running 500-1000 rounds for about .21 ea which is cheap in comparison for brass.
Have never compared 9 vs 10 for reloading. However Id imagine the casings are harder to find ie more expensive as well as the die. |

Haven't owned one. Probably would though if not for my satisfaction with 44 magnums.

Anyone have any experience with this .556 to .22 conversion kits?
The reviews are decent and looks like a cheap alternative for backyard plinking. https://www.cabelas.com/shop/en/cmmg...onversion-kits |

Adopted post Miami shootout, the FBI used the 10mm round for about 3 years before issues with the S&W 1076 became non cost and non safety worthy. Also was to harsh on the women folk. When issues first started they sought out a replacement, hence the development of the .40 S&W. The 9mm replaced the .40 S&W pistols, not the 10mm, you ****ing tool. When you watched the tv show, maybe you should have paid attention, seeing that the shootout incident and the arrival and quick dismissal of the 10mm was over 30 years ago. If that qualifies for recently in your book, you’re even dumber than the character you portray. |

I shot a friend's brand new Glock 30 in .45 acp last weekend. Shot great and grouped very nice. It is a little "snappy" , depending on your skill level and how recoil effects you. ( follow up shots) He also brought his Glock (19 ? mid sized double stack mag) in 9 mm and that shot very nice and follow up shots were very easy. Get the 10 mm AFTER things straighten out and it becomes easy to get again. If it never comes back, you'll be happy you got a .45 acp or 9 mm. |

For a carry piece I have chosen 9mm since I can get a small, light, slim piece with more ammo on board than a .45. For a bedside gun I choose .45ACP; why? Because they don't make a .46. If I want some horsepower in my handgun I choose either .357 magnum or .44 magnum, which generally means a revolver. .41 mag and the larger, newer .460 and .500 calibers are a separate and very niche element.

The 10mm is the only semi-auto handgun caliber I don't own. Never found a use for one other than plinking.
Too much recoil, too big, too heavy, over penetration, hard to find ammo. |

Reread my post I clearly said the 45 GLOCK ROUND. That and the 10MM stay away from.. The old reliable .45 APC is a great gun, I have 4 in that caliber. Do not want or need a .45GLOCK. |

All kinds of 10mm ammo on the auction sites, not bad priced either.
Been waiting for a my price in a Star Megastar 10MM....not many made and the only caliber I don't have in a star. 10mm and I like each other. I have ammo and mags........so....If you buy a 10mm, make sure its heafty to help with the recoil unless you have good hands |

Me too. And 10mm wrenches. And those ****ing black-handled Snap-On screwdrivers. Entire sets.
I once lost my 34" long 3/8" drive spark plug extension. How do you lose THAT? Well a guy comes back to my shop about 3 months later, saying his IHC Scout never ran better, but it has an intermittent rattle ever since I tuned it up. I opened the hood and there was my 34" extension....resting on his cowl. That was a quick fix! 42 years later, that same extension is hanging on my toolbox in my shop. Total back-saver when you're tuning cars all day long. |
