So the hotel we are at offered us a deal online where if we forego housekeeping cleaning the room they would give us some pretty good coupons to use in the restaurants. Since we are only here two nights, we said yes.

So I'm sitting here looking at the room after we have been here about 30 hours. I did not know my wife was a member of Led Zeppelin.

She can't be as stinky as those jokers were.

Back in ~ '78 or '79 we got on the same elevator as the fellas. (Ambassador West in Chicago) My mom being single and very attractive was invited up to their "floor" for a party later on. She passed but had no idea who they were until the doorman told her "you sure you don't wanna go?"

As a 10-11 yr old kid I was too shocked to say anything and I would have loved to hang out but they smelled fookin' horrible.

Years ago I did a job in a plant that made mustard gas. They issued everyone an exposure badge that had a little dot that would change color to indicate if you had been exposed.

I really failed to see the point of that. If you happened to look down and your badge had changed colors, you would already be dead, as you literally coughed out your guts.

Had that plant had a leak or explosion, it would have looked like the opening scene from Stephen King's The Stand. All the hard hats and monitoring badges in the world couldn't have stopped that. But hey, thanks for loaning me the badge, y'all. I felt much safer having that clipped to my FRC's.
