Doug certainly is a man of his word, I mentioned I wouldn't mind having a reproduction of a wooden stingray display picture I sent him, lo and behold, got it via UPS today.

I have a small bowl in our family room that he made. I got it when he generously "raffled" a cutting board and the bowl to members. It was a no cost raffle so he donated the pieces.

Some scrap plywood, ebony stain (black is beautiful), some poly, and some red paint (oil based).

All stuff I had laying around. Made from pictures.

A side view would show the tail slanting up, and the wings also swept up. That took some thinking to do.
