That's definitely how it is currently but one doesn't have to go too far back and you'll find some pretty uncivil behavior.

I agree with IC that some people have been unfairly run off this site. Joecoool, Kingpin and Whitepower are thee names that immediately come to mind. Sure, they left on their own accord but the enviornment became too toxic for two of them, maybe all three.

Mark was one of my favorite posters. All of the confederate flag bs ran him off.

Mark is genuinely a great guy. He lives pretty close and we usually get together at least once a year and talk every few months. I had no idea that he left. I got busy with life and neglected to stop in and warp the fine minds of VB.

I'll see if I can persuade him to return.

I like the smaller forum. Things I miss from early on the other place was the local spur of the moment get togethers like the Hooters tour we did in Virginia Beach.

There are groups of people on here who treat others as outcasts, you can see it in posts and reply to posts. Every forum has that special group of people and it can be aggravating to others.
