Another week or so on the cars, pollen needs to stop (pine shit anyway)..

All ready though. Need to change oil on 73 eldo and ship off to body man for a scratch and have no intention of putting top up LOL

At the moment, no, I don't have a creeper. I had one, but my former dog walker got a job at the local garage, and asked if he could have it. He is a good kid, but was having a lot of trouble getting started in life, so of course, I agreed.

Not that it matters much. To get under my Corvette on a creeper, I would have to jack it up really high. I have the equipment to do it, but it's a lot of work. Laying on the floor, I only need to jack one side up about 3", and I can get under enough to do an oil change.

I use cardboard 99% of the time even though I've had a dozen creepers. Now I have the kid pull me out on the cardboard.

We have the pollen here already, about 2 weeks earlier than normal. If I was to keep the 'vette in until the pollen was gone, it wouldn't get out until July, so I just deal with it.

The only friends I have who have lifts are professional mechanics. I'm sure they would do it for me for minimal charge (maybe even free if I provide the oil and filter), but I just don't feel comfortable with that.

I have thought about buying some kind of lift, but my garage ceiling isn't even 8 feet high, so any kind of 2 post or 4 post lift is pretty much out. I could do a scissor lift, but just never spent the money on it. Now, I'm wondering how much longer I am going to want to keep this car, so buying a lift is pretty far from my mind.

I used to have a thin sheet of insulation that I would lay on when it got cold. Surprisingly enough, the price was right (free), but its durability was not the greatest.

They gots this new fangled stuff they is making down in Ga. I thinks a guy named Wezzie makes it. It's called cardboards, you can lays on it and it won't let the cold cement gets to you.

At least your filter is a can. Last C2 filter I changed on floor was my neighbors 64. Freaking O ring was crimped where can\ cartridge didn’t seat. Lost 1+ quart in 5 sec when it fired up and had to climb back under again....

Had a lift, but figured I didn’t need it. Paid the price for a rush job
