It does have an ejector rod.

Yes it does but it looks like its marginal when used with the longer .357 cases which are a bit longer than the .38Spc. Interested in the trigger pull also. A serious + for me is it does not have the lock bullshit like Smith is doing to most all their revolvers! I will only buy a Smith that is lock free!

I will reserve judgment till when or if I get my paws on one. I have a fondness for revolvers and I consider it a bit pricey. (of course got to see what the real selling price at the gun shop will be like)

If I like it I will add it to my accumulation.

Curious to hear your opinion. I have 1911s and am interested in this one for carry. The only Kimber I've had was a 1911 .45 and had feed problems with it. I sold it, but might want to look at this one if reviews are good and price is right.

I'm with Mark, I'll gather parts and have my gunsmith friend Ray verify my fitment. He worked magic on my Springfield 1911 A1 for not much money
Yeah, but I'd sure love a Dan Wesson, Ed Brown, or Les Baer if my budget would allow it.

I have had two 1911s, but never a Kimber. One was a much modified (by me)
series 70 Gold Cup and the other was a made in 50s Commerical. I Had to do some throating to get the commercial to feed right. The Gold Cup, that sucker would feed a empty out of the mag and chamber it (it was my carry gun for many years). Autos are funny some times but normally a mag change or a little throating and there ready to go!.

Back on topic. like I said this new revolver sounds interesting and I do have some room left in the safe!

I've had a Kimber tactical ultra for about 5 years now. Over 5,000 rounds and its been flawless.

When I was looking at a 1911 I had heard about the Kimber issues. According to what I've seen they had management changes about 7 years ago and qu2 went back up.

It's a perfect chick gun. Thin and compact.

Sounds like a fun place to be !

Kimber should stick to 1911's.

I think it's dumber than hell. Trying to compete with already established Smith & Wesson and Ruger in the revolver market? GMAFB.

Don't get me wrong, I love revolvers, but why would someone drop that kind of coin when you can get a proven piece for less money.

The only thing in the revolver world that is 'new' that is remotely interesting to me is the Chiappa Rhino.

I handled a new Taurus model 64 in a shop a few weeks back. Nice ergo's, being a K frame copy, but the cylinder latch was PLASTIC.

A compact six shooter with the cylinder round chopped flat.
I'd like to check it out.
Probably won't buy it but for comparison sake, I'd like to shoot it.

They should polish it before they add the lettering. The dished out soft edge lettering looks like shit and leads me to wonder about the level of attention to detail given to the rest of the gun.

Nuttin wrong with recycled Bud cans! But I can get a SmittyWesson made with real rare earth metals and an effective ejector rod for much less. And have the option for single action fire if I so desire.

A .357 in aluminum will hurt your hand, especially with that exposed back strap.
Hard to control too, although the guys in the videos didn't seem to let on about those items.
My neighbor has a .357 S&W in Scandium. Empty a cylinder and your hand will know that you shot a .357.
