I saw this first hand in 1981, when I was managing an auto repair shop in downtown Oakland, CA. A whole wave of Vietnamese 'boat people' came into th e neighborhood and transformed it from a black slum to a thriving community in about 2 years. Restaurants, shops, etc. Very hard working and ethical people. What the locals couldn't do in 40 years the refugees did in 2.

Unfortunately the number of good/great black Americans are few. And when they try to better their communities they are shut down and vilified.

It’s going to be very very difficult to clean up this mess with government schools and government handouts.
