Had a kid try and slit his wrists with a butter knife cause he missed his mommy.

Man, we had a guy in my unit do a double homicide, and a couple of suicides happened in about a month. I think it was 2004. Fortunately for me, I was in the middle east and didn't have to deal with the Tom foolery at home station. Several people committed suicide over the years, and a few years before I got out, this dude shot his 8 month pregnant girlfriend and killed her. He drew his last free breath years ago. When I was stationed in Va in 1991. I was the platoon commander for the 4th platoon auxiliary security force on NAS Oceanna. I got a call one night that 2 kids were missing from base housing. We were sent to search for them. They were found later that night with their throats cut nearly to decapitation.
Shawn Novak a 16 year old troubled kid did it. He's still in prison. They should have executed him.
