Gone, 2007 in Canada when flared, took 4am flight out, faked health as said hung over to get home to have it blow up.

Surgery too late. Wake up with Catheter etc that was caught in bed. F’ng Rex hospital. Wife fixed. Next morning faked health as all good to get out. Doc released, crawled to bathroom and puked my guts out. Just had to get out of the dump. Nothing worse than the smell of hospital food, especially broccoli permeating hallways

Mine was not mis-diagnosed but did almost die from it. Some of you ol timers remember this pic from Christmas week 2010. Infection showed up over 6 months on the outside of it and swell to the size of a polish sausage. Removed it all and part of the colon.

4 hour surgery to fix this mess. Everyone else in the waiting room who had shown up after her had left already. Doc goes out looking beat and she burst into tears. He goes, no no no ,it went okay. Do you hear the screaming? That's him. They are trying to adjust his medication.

I now sport a respectable 3 pack.
