Default Christmas morning fail
I just tried to wake my 14 year old son up at 0730. Told him Santa came last night, and thought he would be excited. Oh hell no, he groaned and told me to go away. I told him that he was more fun when he was 7. So there!!!

I remember my kids teenage years. Here is a little trick that worked for me. Get a bag of marbles and keep them in the freezer. Then just gently lift up the blankets and release the cold orbs of death. They will relentlessly chase the little ingrate around till they bound happily out of bed.

Just put some peanut butter on thier nose and then let the dog in the room.

Got my 15 yr old up at the crack of 8 and she acted like it was hard times.

She's still really fun though, and I'm glad for that.

I would keep a small trigger spray bottle of water handy. Fifteen minutes in the freezer, lift the lower end of the blanket, and spray the soles of their feet.
