If I do mistakenly pick up a scam call, I politely let Habib know I plan to masturbate through the duration of the call. That usually gets them to hang up and I now get maybe 1-2 scam calls per month, if that.

I'm almost disappointed that I never got that one. They kept going and going and going with the TV provider scam. Different scammer groups all using the same exact scripts....pay us a lump sum up front and we'll not charge you for so many months going forward, and they you'll be charged a discounted rate after that.

Well Hell, sign me up! I mean, I don't have cable TV, but who could turn down such a gracious offer? Really.

They were very sensitive, though, as if you deviated slightly from what they expected their victim to say, they hung up. Took quite a few calls to get as far as the actual scam pitch, just to figure out what they were trying to do.

The Indiians (or any other type of humans) are not the ones making the calls - they have robot dialers that dial every phone number in an exchange, wait for someone to answer, and then transfer the call to a human operator.

Robo-dialers are like Terminators: they can't be reasoned with, they can't be bargained with, and they absolutely will not stop - EVER!
