Per my former supervisor who had the same type of surgery, pay attention to any stress on your ribcage. He said " you do not want them to have to retighten the wires"

Recovery can be rough, hope you have a good support team and recliner. And don’t move without your “cough pillow”!! I still keep mine as a souvenir. Should have had the surgeon autograph it.

Just a quick update. Was feeling a lot better and might have been released from hosp Tuesday. I went into A Fib around 4AM this morning and didnt come out of it until late this after noon... Im back to feeling pretty good again, but now wont be released until Weds or Thursday....

Did they cardio convert you or did they use meds and wait it out?

I have A-fib for the last 2 years, not a major deal if the under control of your doctors. Hang in there, sounds like the medical field has things under control.
