Both softails, I think the breakout is a great option of the old style with new technology. I saw it in the showroom floor and new it was the style for me. It matches my Vette nicely. The big rear tire is a little bit of a challenge to turning but it is a great bike.

Loco, as much as i know you have a great piece of machinery, I will take it upon myself to make sure that you get on a Harley. There are a million things I could go into, but won't here. I've ridden plenty of motorcycles, so I know your bike is a fine machine, but being a Harley guy, I got to get you swapped over, so ever time, you hit a turn too fast I hear, "nein, nein, nein" as opposed to "Oh Shit"...

FIFY

While the motor company makes a fine motorcycle, the handling is far below his current brand.

You know, it's not like I don't know it. I won't buy a new one until the new engine comes out and performace can surpass Victory. Harley had a free ride for a good long while, but now they need to step up to the plate. Hopefully it lands on the good side of Harley...

If I were buying right now it'd be a Breakout.

That rear was the same wheel that was on the Rocker, a 240. Chicken strip??

What kind of milage you get on the rear tire? My Softail is good for 4000-4500. That's it.

First I'd like to say there sure are a lot of great looking bikes in this thread.

And before anyone here jumps in and calls me a show off, or accuses me of bragging... this posting of my custom Yamaha YBR 125 daily driver is not meant in any way to make you jealous or take anything away from ya'lls rides..

This is my only ride, and do not even own a car.. but it is dependable, and only takes one Coke bottle of gas to go to town and back a few times.

Had this Jewel about 5 years now and I bought it new, since we don't have a garage it has seen every rain since then, and even got knocked over in the mud during a typhoon twice.

The battery went dead a few years back, and I just got tired of adding more water to it.. so have just been using the kick start every since.

But shes dependable as heck and starts on the first kick almost every time... if I remember to turn the key on..

Note that the only customization I have done was to remove the front fender, and take about 5 inches of rake out of the front forks, while some people like to stretch them out...

I prefer the shorter wheel base which makes for faster steering and a shorter turning radius.

Please note moving both forks back equally this much is not a job for just any amateur, and should be left to professionals..

I've been riding since 1965 but had to hang it up a couple years ago due to an injury. I missed riding and figured that 3 wheels is better not riding so I went out and rode every 3 wheel thing out there. I wanted to like the Harley as well as the Can Am but when it was all said and done I just didn't enjoy them or have much fun. I even drove a couple custom trikes but no luck. I got a chance to drive the Polaris Slingshot and had a blast from the git go so I bought one about 6 months ago and been having fun with it ever since. Even started manufacturing trailers for them.

I only have a little over 3000 miles on the bike so far, I often work nights and weekends and I don't get to ride often. I had to go and check the tire, still looks like new. I like the 240 rear tire, looks bad ass to me.

My Softail has a 200. That's a big rear wheel too. These big rear tires don't wear for shit. At least mine don't.
