A couple of friends got warnings on CF just for quoting old technical advice posts I made years ago. Apparently, "proxy posting of banned members" is a thing now.

You must have a VPN, I know of some members that tried the extra user ID thing and got tracked down via IP address and re-banned. And you know who you are.
