2500 likely worth a little more.

When the tires need to be replaced, I'm going to go a bit bigger. These are lost in those big wheel wells.

Aside from that, wow. It's like driving a recliner.

What size tires are on it now? I went to look at Tire rack to see what was available and they list 2 17's, an 18", a 20" and a 22"

Nice truck, congrats

This probably seems like no big deal to most of you and sorry to make it a big deal, but this represents a big part of my "road to recovery" from my divorce. I could NEVER have bought this while married. My wife (ex) HATED when I bought my Corvette. I guess it took money from her "clothing, nail, hair, and general physical maintenance" fund. It also is a recovery from being unemployed for a long time and getting back on my feet. It also means if I could actually find a date, I have a decent vehicle to pick them up in. I honestly would go to friend's houses and park far away out of embarrassment.

Anyway, enough of my "Dear diary" moment. I'm just feeling good about a personal milestone. Thank you for the compliments. I can't wait to clean it my way and unleash some of my OCD on this bad boy.

Two weeks of ownership and my only complaints are:

The owner's manual sucks and everything I have learned about the tech in the truck has come from YouTube.

I hate the transmission. It's the 6 speed, which is better than the 8, but it constantly hunts for a gear and the delay between pedal down, and motion, at about 25-30mph is just stupid.

Those two things aside, it is the absolute best thing I've owned. It weighs 2000lbs more than my old truck, but gets the same mileage. I don't mind the V8/V4 thing. Not really noticeable.

Here she is cleaned up...

If you don’t go off road, do you really want to deal with the road noise?

I'm on the fence. I want something beefier, but aside from campground/park/boat ramp situations, 99% of the time it will be normal street driving. Your point is valid.
