C4....hmmm...let's see maybe its:
- Seats that feel like falling into and climbing out of a 5 gallon bucket - A frame that could have been the inspiration for "twizzlers" - Mufflers that look like two 55 gallon garbage cans stuck under the fenders ....but fall into that seat down between those twizzler frame rails, wind that Mercruser DOHC LT5 up over 7 grand, listen to those garbage cans ROAR while you break every speed limit in the country in 2nd GEAR and if that don't make you have to call the docotor after 4 hours you ain't alive!!!!! Maybe I owned a different C4...
It was.... ...constant trips to the auto parts store ...constant trips to the dealership ...open line of credit at the dealership ...discovery of several new 4 letter words but I don't regret the experience of owning one at all. |

I think someone said it best about a C4 being a real chevy... Start it up, drive the hell out of it, wash it, repeat! |

Only A few bad thing about the car as a whole, Opti, spark plug wires, wheel bearings, and the cost and finding a good computer for a 92-93. Other than that, I love mine, I drive it daily.

The LT4 is awhole lot of fun too. Well maybe the 12hr header job not as fun

IMHO one day the C4 will be just as desirable as a C1 or C2.

Why?
Maybe because it has a more "raw" sports car feel to it than the C5 even though the C5 and up actually perform and handle better (stock to stock). You don't sit in a C4 you kind of wear it. As for the 55 gallon mufflers? We don't need no stinkin mufflers. They're overhead in the garage. |
