I'm supposed be a C++ developer, but I'm stuck working this "COBOL code" that slightly resembles C++. Fortunately, we're rewriting the entire project from scratch in modern C++, but I expect it won't be done for at least another year. The job tosses in a bit of everything here and there. A lot of our testing is driven with python, which is the language I used to grab the usernames and add a random emoji. At my old job, we wrote custom webpages to display our test results and scrum progress. Sometimes it's really fun and interesting. Other times it's a grind. I'm shooting for 5 more years.
