Got to spend quality time at Urgent care this afternoon... Son decided to ruin his thumb when using a T post driver... Thumb caught between end of post and driver when it came off the post. Anyone who has used one knows they suck. He had gloves for the other posts... Dumbass took them off and i just thought he should put them back on when whammo.
Got him in house and started cleaning wound with him in a chair, after a couple cleanings and gauze swaps he caught a good look at thumb and out he went... Right onto me as I had a box of wound treatment stuff on floor and had kneeled down to grab more gauze. Chair went out he ruined me then hit the floor. Good news is the knee hurt more than thumb at that point. He outweighs me by over 75lbs so he won. Wife and I got him back into chair and she was on holding duty... Luckily didn't happen again. Few hours later he's got 5 or 6 stitches, a story to tell, sore knee and teeth(from hitting me with jaw) and some take out bacon cheeseburgers... Lady seemed to be good at stitching people up but I'll scrutinize her work when I clean it, I've been butchered a few times and swear they used rope for stitches in fingers hurt so bad.

As a side note I haven't had take out food since April except for fried chicken from Grocery store few times. Don't enjoy takeout food and usually onky partake once a month at most.
Off to eat some cake and ice cream... Later.

Nicole, what exactly where they doing... That huge gap under on end now is unacceptable as it'll bust right off anyway.
Unless that area was a train wreck those guys were way in over their heads. Slabs have to be free to move independently if rasing them or weird shit happens to start with. Proper amount of liquid(either mortar or foam) is inserted to raise area and it's checked and adjusted. Either something wedged and nothing moved or possibly it was horribly unlevel and shouldn't have been done. I saw a large corner of a driveway raised 4 to 6 inches before and was dead on flat when done.
I bet that whole area is was off level now even with slope for drainage.
If they can't fix I'd get a refund and just havd it torn out at this point as it'd be hard to fix that screw up.
Good luck.

Trans fluid changed, diff fluid changed today, new cooling system, engine oil switched to Mobil 1syntetic 5W20, oil pressure is 46 psi @ 65 mph. A/C blows like a mofo front and rear, time to start on the interior upgrades.

Carpeting, sound system, inverter, flat screen TV, and center console cooler are next. Being a conversion van already is a good start. We're leaning towards the camper van theme. Crazy what folk's can do with a small space.
