Default Obama care hits home
A work colleague of my wife just found out that her husband who has worked for the same small company for 25 years will be laid off by April. The company announced that due to the ACA that they had to cut back, so the 3 senior employees are getting the axe. Our country is being disposed of one person at a time. Just WTF?

Look, I went into the TV service groups, back in the early 60's then to be shop manager/head tech....by '80 the industry died, the Japs took it over...now China Inc....

In THAT period of time I first hand witnessed and talked to men that made it 20 years with various companies, and got laid off....for some reason that magic number of just shy of 20 years was all about funding their retirement, matched with company funds??? some such legalezzzzzze.....

SO just what else is new????

That's their bull shit excuse because they want to cut their top wage earners. Small businesses are NOT required to provide insurance.

Depending on the size and revenue...they will have to pay a fine if they don't provide acceptable insurance.

I'm not sure what they are doing with other employees. Either way, they informed them that it was due to the ACA.
