Could it be true?
Word on the street is that Hurst/B&M is making a shifter for the C5.... The A4 C5!
Seems they were looking for some donor cars in CA to do testing on. The contact person is Rigo and his number is 818-882-6422, I'm going to call on Monday just to see what's up. Just in case you're not sure why this is so great, have a look at the only viable alternative at this time. The Grond Chronicles Last edited by Munch; 08-14-2011 at 5:33pm. |

It's not a question of need. Does the C5 need a bigger cam, heads, intake, splitters, spoilers, side skirts, a 3200 stall converter.... Probably not but they sure are fun!
Although if you do want to manually shift your A4 the stock system is less than ideal for this. |

and it was a fun little toy to play with. I would honestly not mind going with one in my Vert...although I would want to see what a finished product looks like installed in someone else's car before tearing mine apart. I run the gears in mine all the time, and VERY RARELY miss the gear I want, but having the ratchet is a guaranteed way that you are not going to miss a gear. |
