Installing glass in most of the 60's cars is tedious - just the way it is, molding, clips, weatherstrip. I don't know there is much to improve in the C2s - other than things the ravages of time uncover, like corroded bulkhead connectors, rust, gummed up headlight buckets, etc.

The midyear is a great car. I agree that the front and rear window is a
challenge to replace and not leak.
I would also add that the floor of a midyear could have been dropped
for more cabin room.

The power steering system, while it works very well when in good order, is bit of a Rube Goldberg configuration. Four hoses, two of which must travel with the drag link. Control valve, and a hydraulic cylinder.

One thing I do like on a midyear is the key doesn't have to be on to operate the power windows.
