Default Auto Climate Control dim display

I've always felt that one of the things that really makes you a car owner is your first diy repair/replacement. Today was such a day for me.

When I bought the car ~8 months ago the display was dim but still readable. Last night it finally went out. Thankfully I knew exactly what the culprit was and this morning broke out the soldering iron and fixed it. It's strange having a fully lit display now
