just discovered they took our document box. everything.

SS cards, birth certs, passports, wills, PE license info, gun receipts, house deed and other house info, insurance info....everything.

i feel like a failure.

Contact all the appropriate agencies and fax or provide a copy of the police report. Contact your recorder of deeds at the court house. The police should be able to inform you of who you need to contact. I'm sorry you and Mrs. DAB are going through this.

Do NOT feel like a failure! It could have happened to any one of us. Don't let this bring you down, vent here (it will help), find out what exactly you need to do and git 'r done! You are tough and a fighter. We are here for you.

I'm pretty sure, some of our resident lawyers maybe able to advise you on the necessary steps to protect yourself.

Really sucks but please make sure your health comes first that is most important. It's amazing how fast it can be ripped away without a warning. I know you understand that as well as I do.
