In his weekly address, Obama credited both Democrats and Republicans for cutting payroll taxes for the middle class last year. But he warned that with the tax cut set to expire at the end of December, middle-class families will see their taxes increase by $1,000.

“We can’t let that happen,” Obama said, adding: “In fact, I think we should cut taxes on working families and small business owners even more.”

The president vowed to “keep pushing” Congress and said lawmakers shouldn’t leave Washington for the holidays until they pass this legislation.

The complete lack of leadership from BHO is what was expected of him by those of us who actually looked at his abilities and his past performances.
