And the progressives are just gleefully spending the United States into oblivion... with absolutely no regard for what they're doing.
Hey, progressives! Here's a great idea! How about a free car for everyone who can't afford one? Those who would oppose such a measure are obviously being racist/elitist. And just think of the incredible boost it would give our sagging automotive industry! The unions would profit like there's no tomorrow, so that HAS to be good for jobs, right? Never mind that we'll have to borrow another few trillion dollars to do this. Never mind that if we keep borrowing and spending with such reckless abandon, eventually we'll permanently crash the economy. FREE CARS FOR EVERYONE, SAYS I!! WHO'S WITH ME?
