I grew up with my father his 7 brothers and all my male cousins loosing most of their hair by age 18. They all shared the same basic look, if they had a hat on it looked like they had hair. Take the hat off and no hair under it just the little that was not under the hat. It made sense to figure I would be in the same situation. I wore a hard hat or welders hood much of my work life and that did not seem to hurt my hair, as some people told me it would!

Well at age 75 I have lost about 1/2 of my head hair and that only started about 12 years ago. Somehow I beat the odds. The remaining 1/2 is silver and I do have a full beard and stash.

My hair line was always high and is considerably receded now at 68 -much like my dad's was. The past 5 years since retiring I've let it grow a couple times... shoulder/pony tail length. Went short last summer. Convertibles and shoulder length hair are not a good combo.
