I took a nap when it hit landfall. I was up all night from midnight on, watching this thing.

I watched the RADAR as it came ashore at Tyndall AFB and knew Mexico Beach was gonna get hammered. That kind of flooding is going to have caused quite a few deaths.

My cousins in Greensboro FL ( where the first reported fatality is) got thrashed pretty well.

I am going to,see if I can get my 18' flatbed and 8' truck box filled up with supplies and take it to them.

If I could just get them to reply back. Communications is by text only and is very spotty.

That was my next concern. I was already thinking sr 20 would be the way to go. Or even sr 2. Skirt the north end and dodge traffic. It's a nice little drive too.

I 10 is closed from 331 to past Chipley.

Sr 20 is open but there are several bridges closed.

Us 90 is open but again there are several bridge closures.

Looks like I might have to go up into Alabama and try to head south.
