Default Any one ever get anemia?

I get something called pernicious anemia from lack of nutrient absorbsion. I run out of red blood cells. Even with B12 and Testosterone injections ever two weeks it still happens. Last one was two years ago.

Oddly, my iron and hemoglobin kept going up for the last two years with no changes in diet or supplements. But now we are back to crashing.

What chaps my ass is that you have to have hemoglobin at or below 13.6 to get treatment (a series of iron infusions every other day for two weeks). So I知 at 14.

I知 almost incapacitated from the fatigue. My mind is foggy. By the time I get to under 13, l値l be in bad shape. But every time (this would be #4) this is how it goes. I try to tell them I知 self employed. But to no avail.

I知 .4 too high. Sigh.

Seems close enough.

Anyone know this feeling? It is insane. The good news is after about a dozen infusions, I値l feel like Chuck Norris on six Monster drinks. The nurses call me Iron Man and I swear I become magnetic. Had a spoon stuck to my ass for a week.

Symptoms:
Extreme physical and mental fatigue.
Shortness of breath
Cognitive fog
Eye lid undersides light pink/grey (should be red)
High BP, High pulse
Can稚 concentrate
No horny
Hair and fingernails brittle

Anyone else?

In 2007 I was diagnosed with Hairy Cell Leukemia (HCL) a relatively rare form. I had gone to my regular doctor because I was constantly fatigued. Preliminary blood tests revealed I had anemia but indicated other issues. After being referred to a hematologist I was diagnosed with HCL and underwent chemotherapy. I had routine blood tests for five years with no sign of the HCL
so they said I was in remission but there was always a chance it would come back

Ironically, I have an appointment with a hematologist next week. A couple of months ago I started feeling tired again. Initially I thought it was just the result of playing golf too frequently summer heat here in Florida. When I cut back to no more than once a week and I was not feeling better I went to my doctor here and he did a blood test that showed I was slightly aneamic. Given my prior history, he refered me to the specialist. Guess I will find out next week if the HCL is back.
