the way he wanted: With his wife by his side and dressed in his Army uniform. This picture of Justus Belfield saluting was taken one day before he died. He served our country for 17 years.

The uniform doesn't look right. It doesn't look like a WWII issue. Looks like the uniform of the 70's Army.

A Google search indicated to me that in the nursing home he was given a uniform to wear as a last wish. That said he should be wearing a Warrant Officer rank and uniform. It's on his government issued tombstone. |
