Nothing new, folks.
I grew up in So. Cal. Plague (bubonic) was always an issue. A vague kind of one, but one nonetheless . We were told never to mess with any wildlife, especially recently dead. This kind of reporting is nothing short of fear mongering. If it goes pneumonic (which is human to human), then it can go bad really fast. But this has nothing to do with the invaders from the southern border. If those illegals had fleas that carried the bubonic plague, then those same illegals would have plague already, and it would turn into pneumonic plague . Bubonic plague has always been an issue in the US. And it's not due to any humans. It's wildlife driven. eta: There are plenty of other diseases that the illegal hordes are bringing here, but bubonic plague isn't one of them. |
