Maine Trip
I just got back from winterizing my Mothers home, thought I would share some pictures. The leaves are just starting to change colors, they are still a week or two away from being photo ready.
My Mothers backyard view, my back yard growing up. Some river shots I crossed daily. Chunks of ice the size of cars flow down the river the size of cars, funny what things we miss from our home. I couldn't take my Vette, but my you can see my pickup off to the right of this picture, unintentional shot of my pickup. River road, only one guess why they named it that. This is where they cross the river in the winter with the snowmachines. Typical barn shot. Highway shot as I was heading back to Virginia.

I brought back some fresh lobsters, just finished a couple.
Maybe next spring when I head up we can have a lobster fest if anyone is interested.

I forgot to ask. Do you know Stephen King?

Maine is nice place to be in the summer. Winters are for the hardy, I have seen it 35 degrees below zero. A couple of years ago they got about 15 feet of snow, average is about 6 feet per winter. I have seen snow as early as August and as late as June.
I don't know Stephen King, but I know of plenty that have seen him walking around the Bangor area, I am assuming that was before someone accidentally ran him down.
